Just to be complete and have some more fun. The interface driver/baffle is not perfect due to the experimental character of this setup. There is definitely some room for improvement there. The rest is fairly obvious, wider average baffle is less dipole low cancellation.
Red = no baffle at all.
White = trapezoidal baffle at one side, total width at top is 7", width at
bottom is 13", average 10".
Yellow = 2 sides have trapezoidal wing, total width at top is 9", width at
bottom is 18", average 13,5".
Green = 2 sides have trapezoidal wing, total width at top is 12", width at
bottom is 21", average 17.5".
The above plots were taken in the "sitting down" position. Below is a similar plot with the wide trapezoidal baffle in the "standing up" position. Different, flatter response with a second trace on a tweaked crossover.to flatten even more.
