Current status of a 3 parameter dipole model.

Since I'm still working on evolving the dipole baffle/RD75 combination, just a little teaser showing some area's that are probably familiar for all working with the RD75 in dipole applications.  The two simulations below differ in a pressure differential weighitng factor.  The simulation is for a so called one sided baffle where the (short) speaker side is left "unbaffled"  The width of the baffle was the same as in the previous examples under the "model" heading.  Observe the typical suck-out at 4 kHz and the by now familiar slope and peak/dips below 1kHz.  There is also an interesting anomaly at appriximately 6kHz.  (This is not a simulation of the cavity resonance !)  Note also the little bump at 13 kHz.  The scale in the simulations below is 10dB/division.

The above simulations don't include any diffraction modelling nor is the driver's ribbon response modeled (yet).

To be continued.
