Clearview Subwoofer Crossover.

The Clearview CXR 11 subwoofer crossover can be used as complement to the CXR 22 or CXR 25 ribbon crossovers with equalization or as a stand-alone unit with any DIY or commercial subwoofer.  This subwoofer processor can also be used to assist the  fixed LFE output of any surround decoder.

Features:

• Second order high pass filter (HP2) with continuously adjustable corner frequency (8-40 Hz)
• Adjustable Q for the high pass filter to accomodate 6th order vented design equalization (0.5-2)
• Selectable 2rd or 4th order low pass filter  (LP2 or LR4) with continuously adjustable corner frequency  (30-150 Hz)
• Level control for the subwoofer section
• Continuously variable second order high pass filter (HP2, defeatable) for link to the main system  This feature allows for optimum subwoofer/main system crossover frequency setting in function of the room acoustics.  Asymmetrical frequency settings allow to compensate for standing wave room peaks.  Alternatively this section can be replaced by a first, second,third or fourth order high pass filter with internally adjustable Q for each channel.  Dual goldplated RCA out.
• Internally selectable Linkwitz correction network for pole shifting of sealed subwoofer enclosures.  This circuit allows to shift Qtc and Fc of the sealed box up to one octave lower !  The HP2 filter is not in the Linkwitz correction loop.
• Summing input, dual gold plated RCA in.
• Balanced low impedance output to facilitate bridging a standard stereo amp.  (Bridge circuit built into crossover)  Dual gold plated RCA out.
• Subwoofer output Phase Control
• Ultra low noise pre-regulated dual tracking power supply with toroidal transformer.
• Audio grade Op-Amps throughout.  (OP275, OP176, AD797, SSM2141)

Dimensions:

8,5"W x 10"D x 1.75" H in a black aluminum housing with anodized 1/8" frontplate.  Two units can be stacked together to fit in a 19" EIA rack mount.
