Similar measurements as on the Carvers. First a dipole on a quarter round baffle, second plot is from a monopole RD75. Built into a rectangular box, 8" wide, 80" tall and 17" deep. Measured at a distance of 2 meter on a hard ceramic tiled floor. Was looking for floor bounce and I found it ;-)
It is again interesting to see how the distortion/SPL plots show similarities with the location of the locatoin of the resonance peaks.
The plot below is taken from the monopole setup. As expected, significant damping of the resonances.
There is still room for experimentation on the monopole set up, such as changing the stuffing density, size of the box, ratio of the box etc. Later. (Maybe ;-)
